Automotive Club

The automotive club is organized to give the automotive students an oportunity to interact in a non-classroom atmosphere. The club conducts fundraisers throughout the year such as the annual car care clinic, beef stick sales, Bucky Book sales, etc. The funds raised during these events are used to help offset costs of trips and activities. Some of the trips and activities in the past have included the Chicago Auto Show and the state Skills USA contest. Madison Area Technical College Automotive students have consistently placed in the top 3 at the state level competition and have had several national Skills USA champions in recent years.

 

In the Spring of 2011 our students took 1st and 2nd place at the state level in the Automotive Technology competition in addition to several of our students placing in the top three in other categories.
