    HOW DO I GAIN ACCESS TO PARA-TRANSIT SERVICES?

    The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 requires public transit agencies to provide para-transit service to persons with disabilities  who cannot access the public transit system due to their disability.  Para-transit service complements the same area & hours of the city bus system.  Riders must fill out an application & be a registered para-transit rider to use the services.  Eligibility requirement information & service applications may be obtained via the Metro Transit website or by calling (608) 266-4466.
