    Programs

    Architectural Technology

    Design a successful career combining technical and business skills. Work hands on with drafting and architectural software, materials and tools. Take projects from concept to completion, turning your ideas into reality.

    Cabinetmaking and Millwork

    Turn wood and other materials into beautiful and functional cabinetry and furnishings while developing business and customer service skills. Work with recycled and “green” technology as well as new materials.

    Civil Engineering Technology

    Learn engineering technology and business skills in this hands-on program. Prepare to assist civil engineers with planning, scheduling, designing, estimating, surveying and inspecting buildings and other structures.

    Construction and Remodeling

    Build a solid future in this intensive hands-on program. Get real work experience taking a residential construction or remodeling project from prints and specifications through completion. Employ green building concepts and the latest technology.

    Electrical Engineering Technology

    In addition to training in electronics, learn to analyze problems and implement solutions in computer, cellular phone, wireless service and new electronic technologies now in development. Successful graduates can enroll as juniors in the prestigious Milwaukee School of Engineering bachelor’s degree program in engineering technology.

    Interior Design

    Create a career helping people improve and beautify their surroundings. Explore new design concepts and materials in real world situations in our design lab. Learn to work with clients in both residential and corporate settings.

    Certificates 

    Introduction to Wind Energy

    Acquire the basic knowledge and skills needed to explore career opportunities in the growing wind energy industry. Employment opportunities are increasing for skills technicians who are able to operate and repair wind energy systems.

    Renewable Energy Certificate

    Start a career in energy management and renewable energy technology. Get hands-on skills in troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, operation and repair and replacement of related equipment in solar, bio fuels, wind and other renewable resources.

    Apprenticeships

    Construction trades comprise about half of the active apprentices in Wisconsin. Earn while you learn a trade that puts you to work building and repairing homes, commercial and industrial buildings, bridges, highways, airports and other structures, and related mechanical systems.
