Nursing Completion LPN to ADN

Madison Area Technical College and the faculty of the Associate Degree Nursing Program value the education and experience you have obtained as an LPN. As an LPN, you may be able to apply to the Nursing Completion to enter into the third semester nursing courses. LPNs enrolling in the third semester nursing courses take Orientation to Associate Degree Nursing (543-164, 3 credit)the semester before entering the third semester nursing courses.

Work Experience Requirements for Advanced Standing

Verification of work experience as an LPN:  It is required that the LPN work in a healthcare facility for at least 6 months prior to admission to the Nursing Completion program.    A signed Employment Verification statement from your employer is required. Form can be found on the Nursing Completion LPN to A DN web site.

Admission Process

Submit your application according to the guidelines for all students (see Admission Information link below).  Upon completion of the application process, qualified applicants will be put on a list for entry into the program.
