Maria Banuelos to Receive Roberto G. Sanchez Award

Madison College's Maria Banuelos is receiving the 2010 Roberto G. Sanchez Award for promoting educational opportunities in the Latino community!

Maria is the Associate Vice President for Learner Success/Diversity and Community Relations at Madison College. Her career in education has spanned more than 30 years. Maria has been an instrumental part of the development of  the College's South Campus, the development of extensive bilingual programming at the College, the creation of the Latino Chamber of Commerce and the African American/Black Business Association, and the initiation of the Minority Faculty Internship program.
