    Longtime Mount Horeb Fire Chief Dies

    MOUNT HOREB, Wis. -- Mount Horeb Fire Chief Chuck Himsel died Monday morning at his home. He was 67.

    Himsel had served as the village's fire chief since 1978, following his father, who held the post for 18 years before him.

    He was also the lead instructor for Madison Area Technical College's fire program for many years and was known throughout the country by leaders in the firefighting profession, WISC-TV reported.

    Officials said that the cause of his death is undetermined at this point.
