    • Create and practice group presentations
    • Study collaboratively or view academic media as a small group

There are 3 rooms available which can be reserved by students for one hour at a time. You can check availability and reserve a study room at the Madison Area Technical College Truax Library Circulation Desk. The rooms are frequently in use, so you should reserve a room ahead of time. The rooms accommodate 4-6 persons maximum.

Students using the rooms and/or equipment must read and sign a usage agreement form (PDF, 88 KB).

Drop-in assistance is generally not available. Students must also schedule an appointment in advance if they want assistance with getting started on a multimedia project using the library equipment and software. This is a separate process from reserving the room or equipment. Contact Donna Marconnet 608-243-4085 dmarconnet[at] matcmadison [dot] edu or Jennifer Varshal 608-243-4768 jvarshal[at] matcmadison [dot] edu. If you make an appointment ahead of time, we can help you get started and give some general suggestions, but students are responsible for their own assignments. Evening and Saturday appointments are not available.
