    Perhaps you need to work on a podcast, blog, Powerpoint presentation, vlog, enhanced podcast, short movie, speech, interview, video, commercial, or other multimedia creation for a class here at Madison Area Technical College? Be sure to check your particular assignment instructions. Contact your instructor with any questions about your assignments. Then, here's some resources and ideas to get you started:

    • If your instructor is using iTunes U, check your Blackboard course for instructions.
    • iTunes U information from Apple and link to download iTunes for MAC or PC. Your computer will need a recent version of iTunes U in order for the links in Blackboard to work.
    • Supported formats for audio and video uploads to iTunes U: Audio files (AAC, MP3) with appropriate file extensions (.m4a, .mp3). Video files (MPEG-4 with H.264 compression) with appropriate file extensions (.mp4, .m4v, .mov).

    The library collection includes a couple mp3 collections that can be used for enhancing your podcast or video, as well as a DVD with some stock video footage that can be incorporated into a movie.These are on reserve for use in the library.mp3 icon

    Students and educations who are Wisconsin residents may use royalty free music files from Soundzabound for their multimedia educational projects.

    The library collection includes a number of titles that can help you learn how to work with multimedia software or equipment. Search the Library Catalog using search terms such as podcasting, Adobe Premiere, or iMovie. You'll notice we have a number of electronic books from Safari Tech and Business Books  which may also be quite helpful.
