Career planning

Career planning resources are designed to help match students skills,
values, interests and experiences with appropriate careers. Professional
advisors and counselors can provide up-to-date career information and
decision-making strategies.
Advising and
Career Resources at the Truax Campus, Room 159AA, is a comprehensive center
for self-assessment, career exploration, career information, learning
options and job search strategies. Assessment tools include Wisconsin
Careers WISCareers (computerized career guidance program) and Career

The Education and

The Assessment
Center, Commercial Avenue Campus, Room 251, offers career planning
sessions to assist individuals in making career decisions. A variety of
career assessment tools including the Self-Directed Search and Internet
career resources may be used to help determine interests, abilities and
career directions. These sessions are recommended for people in the process
of changing careers, entering the workforce for the first time, or deciding
whether or not to begin or continue a post-secondary education. There
is no charge for these services. Please call the Assessment Center at
