Student Right to Know
Madison Area Technical College provides to students certain information
regarding the College, its programs, services and practices as required
by the Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act, enacted in 1990
(34 CFR Part 668). This information includes a variety of academic information,
information regarding financial assistance, institutional information,
information on completion or graduation rates, College security policies
and crime statistics, and athletic participation rates and financial
aid.
To assist you in easily locating and using this information, MATC
provides this reference chart below. Should you wish to comment on

| Sexual Offender Registration Information |
Federal law requires MATC to provide students with
information on how they can obtain information about registered
sex offenders in the state and local community.
Wisconsin's
Sex Offender Registry is maintained
by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Sex Offender Registration
Program, commonly referred to as SORP. On June 1, 1997, Wisconsin
Act 440, the Sex Offender Registration and Community Notification
law, became effective, allowing for the collecting and dissemination
of information related to certain sex offenders. |
| Study Abroad Qualifications for Financial
Assistance |
Student who are eligible for Financial Aid can
apply that aid to enrollment in MATC Study Abroad programs. For
