Distribution of
Printed Matter
Any person may distribute free literature, newspapers and other printed matter on sidewalks adjacent to district property and buildings providing it does not conflict with any public law or obstruct or interfere with the passage of persons through doors or walkways, or interfere with the educational process.
Recognized student organizations, individual students and staff may distribute free newspapers or other printed matter in student lounge areas and within the buildings at entrance areas provided they:
- Obtain a facility permit. The issuer of the permit may not refuse a permit on the basis of content.
- Clearly label the literature with the sponsoring group’s or individual’s name.
- Do not impede the normal flow of pedestrian traffic.
- Do not interfere with the educational process.
