Chart out your coursework plan

Now that you have a list of all the admission, general education, and major requirements needed at your transfer college, its time to chart out your future coursework. By planning ahead several semesters, you'll be sure to fit in all the courses you need.

First gather a list of all the courses you've taken at MATC and any previous colleges. For those interested in earning an associate's degree before transferring, request a degree audit.

Next you can check off the required courses you have already taken and determine which courses you still need to take at MATC. If you plan to transfer to a UW-System college, use the Transfer Information System’s (TIS) Credit Transfer Wizards to see how your courses will transfer. If your transfer college is outside the UW-System, verify your coursework plan with that admissions office to make sure you're on the right track.

Lastly, organize the courses you need into a semester-by-semester plan.
