Youth Options
Attend classes and earn credits through the Youth Options program
If you are a high school junior or senior, you can attend classes and earn credits at MATC through the Youth Options program. Those credits can apply to both high school and technical college credit requirements.
Contact your high school guidance counselor to select the college courses that are right for you, and apply to your local school board by March 1 for the fall semester and by October 1 for the spring semester. Youth Options is not available during the summer session.
Youth Options students will then receive a specific registration date, which will be communicated to the student two to three weeks prior to the session. Students are encouraged to register on their scheduled date to increase the liklihood of availablility of courses. Students are then invited to an orientation to learn more about taking their classes at MATC.
