Program Outcomes

IT-Web Analyst/Programmer, 10-152-4

Throughout the IT-Web Analyst/Programmer program, students acquire various skills that prepare them for a variety of entry-level web analyst/programmer positions.

A student who successfully completes the coursework and graduates from the program will be able to:

  1. Write moderately complex web applications using current Enterprise Java technology.
  2. Write moderately complex web applications using current Microsoft technology.
  3. Process data in a relational database using SQL command set.
  4. Perform entry-level systems analysis and design work to solve business problems using both traditional and object-oriented methodologies.
  5. Build the client side of interactive web sites using (X)HTML and scripting languages.
  6. Demonstrate work ethics and reliable behavior including, but not limited to, assuming responsibility for decisions and actions, utilizing time and stress management skills, and displaying initiative.
  7. Work as a team member by demonstrating good communication and listening skills, cooperation, and providing a supportive environment.
  8. Demonstrate an understanding of the IT field and its job roles.
