IT-Computer Systems Administration Specialist, 10-154-7

Throughout the IT Computer Systems Administration program, students acquire various skills that prepare them for a variety of entry-level systems administration positions.

A student who successfully completes the coursework and graduates from the program will be able to:

  1. Troubleshoot personal computer systems.
  2. Install and configure Microsoft Windows client operating systems.
  3. Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Client Operating Systems.
  4. Install and configure Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
  5. Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems.
  6. Establish an Active Directory environment on Microsoft Windows Server
  7. Configure basic TCP/IP networking services on Microsoft Windows
  8. Install, configure, and troubleshoot network operating systems.
  9. Solve problems individually and in a team environment.
