Visual Communications-Media Design, 10-206-1

1. Incorporate traditional/fundamental design skills and concepts including drawing, perspective, color and layout in the creation of visual media.
2. Incorporate new media skills including digital design concepts, digital video, animation, web, and interactive in the creation of visual media.
3. Apply basic operation skills for Computers.
4. Choose appropriate media technologies to effectively plan, manage time and resources and produce digital media projects.
5. Work effectively as a team member demonstrating dependability, flexibility, communication and management skills.
6. Develop critical thinking and self-motivated learning abilities to expand professional growth skills.
7. Prepare for working in a professional environment as an entry-level employee.
