- Communicate effectively in written, verbal, and electronic formats to coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
- Apply technical math and science knowledge to prepare engineering drawings and assist in the design of products.
- Use computers and appropriate software to solve problems and communicate in the mechanical design work environment.
- Use appropriate CAD systems to create designs/drawings.
- Demonstrate applied technical drawing standards essential to create working drawings.
- Analyze mechanical parts based on selection criteria and strength requirements.
- Apply a basic knowledge and understanding of manufacturing infrastructure* and planning in the mechanical design field.
- Demonstrate appropriate professional behaviors by effectively managing time, maintaining positive client relations, accurately assessing personal work performance, displaying initiative and professional ethics.
- Work effectively and productively within a team work environment.
