Check out the Technology Training opportunities for the fall semester by clicking on http://matcmadison.edu/hr/techtraining. All classes now have required registration at that site. All classes will meet at Truax in 220C unless otherwise stated. Open lab (an opportunity to ask Irene questions) sessions do not require registration. Contact Irene Rauwald, 243-4380, for personal "Guide at Your Side" sessions or if you have questions. Please register at least five working days before the class. Student Add/Drop Fees Swap of Classes
During the first 14 calendar days of the semester, students may transfer 100% of the fees from a dropped class toward an added class only if the add and drop are done in person and at the same time. Otherwise, the below schedule applies:Class Refund/Reduction Schedule Student Request Date: Percent of Refund/Reduction
Prior to day of the first class: 100%
Prior to 11% of total class meetings: 80%
From 11% through 20% of total class meetings: 60%

OPTICAL DISPENSARYThe optical dispensary in room 314 at the Truax campus will be open for services on Friday, September 3rd. Our hours will be Fridays, 12:00-3:00 p.m. Students and staff of MATC are invited to come and look at the large selection of dress and safety glasses available. We have the latest in eyewear fashion and lens materials, all at a significant cost savings. When ordering glasses, you must bring with you a copy of your current prescription (not more than 2 years old). We also provide adjustments and minor eyeglass repairs at no cost. To assure that a technician is available when you come in, we strongly recommend calling (608) 246-6272 for an appointment.

MATC CHOIR
If you are interested in singing, the MATC Community Show Choir would like to encourage you to join us. We meet every Thursday evening from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. from September 9 though December 2, 2004. The culminating feature for the Choir is the Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 5, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. in the Mitby Theatre at MATC Truax Campus. The Choir meets in the choral rehearsal room (101) on the Truax Campus. Anyone interested in joining the Choir is welcome.
