It's Back...You're invited to the 3rd Annual Faculty Art Show in the Boardroom at the Truax Campus!  The show opens on Monday, March 29 and runs thru Thursday, April 29.  The exhibit is open to you and the public on most Mondays-Thursdays from 11am-1:30pm.  You are also invited to the opening reception on Tuesday, March 30, from 11am to 1:30pm.  Enjoy great art, food and meet our talented Art faculty.

Experience Native American Culture!  Attend MATC's 13th Annual Pow Wow on Saturday, April 3 at the MATC Truax Gym. Doors open at 10 am with Grand Entries at 1 and 7 pm and feast at 5 pm.  Tickets are $6/each. Children five and under are free.  For more information, call 246-6613. The Pow Wow is sponsored by the Native American Student Association.

Dialogue Sessions with Vice President, Strategic Effectiveness
Dialogue sessions will be held with Becky Baumbach, Vice President of Strategic Effectiveness at the Truax campus on Wednesday, March 31 from 4:30 to 5:30pm in room 142A&B.
Sessions are also scheduled for the following regional sites:
     April 2, 9:30-10:30am&endash;Reedsburg Campus
     April 5, 3:30-4:30pm&endash;Watertown Campus
     April 28, 1:30-2:30pm&endash;Fort Atkinson Campus
These sessions provide an opportunity for Becky to answer any questions staff may have or discuss topics related to strategic planning, assessment of student learning outcomes, LSQIP, AQIP, environmental scanning or any continuous improvement effort at the college.  There is no formal presentation, just time to communicate about things on your mind concerning the college's direction and improvement efforts.  We hope to see you!

The MATC Student Senate is now accepting applications for the 2004-05 academic year.  Applications are due April 2, 2004 and elections will be held April 14, 2004.
Senators make things happen for MATC students...the renegotiated Bus Ridership Program, with improved para-transit service...the Student Savings Club Card for student discounts at local businesses...promotion of the Financial Aid Awareness Week...amendment of on-campus smoking policies...grant support for the Children's Diversity Library...support for the Annual VSA Traveling Art Show...sponsorship of the Annual Student Art Show...sponsorship of the upcoming Student Talent Show...etc.
