Global Horizons Distinguished Lecture Series Fall 2003: Focus on the Middle East
From Oct. 20 through December 5 the MATC Global Horizons Lecture Series will offer a series of programs exploring the people, culture, politics and religions of the Middle East. In addition to proving a historical and political perspective on conflict areas such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Israel, the series also hopes to introduce students, staff and the community to music, arts, films, food and other expressions of culture from the diverse peoples of the region.
