General Information

Tuesday, October 7 from 6-8 pm, Career Snapshot. Do you know someone who may be interested in business, computer or art careers? Then tell them to go to the Truax Campus, Room 142C (Student Lounge) next Tuesday. Attendees will learn about the following occupations, and salary and advancement opportunities.  They will be able to participate in hands-on demonstrations and talk to MATC alumni working in the field.  The event is free of charge and open to members of the community. Programs highlighted are:
Accounting, Business Mid-Management, Finance, CIS Programmer/Analyst, CIS Web Analyst/Programmer, CIS Network, CIS Computer Systems Administration, Real Estate, FASTRACK Marketing, Supervisory Management, Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Web Design and more! On Tuesday, October 14 stop by the Barber/Cosmetology table at the Truax Campus, near the cafeteria. You will be able to purchase salon products at very reasonable prices and pick up the service and hour pamphlets for both the Truax and Downtown Salons.

WACTE is the Wisconsin Association for Career and Technical Education. All of our fund raisers are to support scholarships for the students and help fund professional activities for staff.
