General Information

Foundation Short-Term Book Loans
Staffing for short-term emergency and book loans will no longer be available in Room 141C or the Foundation Office during the first week of classes - borrowers must visit with a counselor before their eligibility is determined.
Students must first consult with Gerard Xavier in Room 159, or a generalist at the regional campuses, to discuss their specific situations and possible referrals to alternative resources. Students at the Truax Campus should be referred to Joni Bernau at x6076 to make an appointment with Gerard.

Training opportunities for Blackboard 6 and PeopleSoft. Learn the newest version of Blackboard by required registration at http://matcmadison.edu/hr/techtraining or contact Sandy Philip (246-6361, sphilip@matcmadison.edu). The Advanced Blackboard session will run from 9am to 3pm (we will break for an hour at lunch) on Wednesday, Aug. 13. This will be hands-on training for those who have already been using Blackboard.

PeopleSoft training for faculty and staff will be offered during the week of August 18. Please send an email to Sheila Sheldon at ssheldon@matcmadison.edu with your specific request, comment, or question about your training.

Check out the Technology Training opportunities for the fall semester by clicking on http://matcmadison.edu/hr/techtraining. All classes now have required registration at http://matcmadison.edu/hr/techtraining/2003fallreg.htm or email Irene Rauwald at irauwald@matcmadison.edu. Space is limited and a minimum of 5 is required to run the class, so register early.
