McCallum invites you to join him for
"WISCONSIN'S SALUTE TO AMERICA'S SPIRIT: A STATEWIDE MEMORIAL SERVICE"
Join Governor McCallum
for a statewide memorial service for the victims of the terrorist acts
on September 11 in New York, Washington, DC, and Pennsylvania.
The memorial service
will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, September 16, outside the east entrance
(King Street entrance) of the Wisconsin State Capitol Building in Madison.
(In the event of inclement weather, the memorial will be held inside the
Capitol Rotunda).
Also invited are local,
state and federal officials, religious leaders and the public for rememberances
and music in honor of the people whose lives were lost.
The program includes
the 132nd Army Band of the Wisconsin National Guard and a Joint Service
Color Guard.
Flowers and memorials
can be placed at the Law Enforcement Memorial on the north corner of the
State Capitol Square.
