Ron D. Wright, Ph.D. Dr. Ron D. Wright has served since August 1997 as president of Cincinnati State Technical and Community College in Cincinnati, OH, where he has focused on workforce development and introducing a new information technologies division and curricula. Wright holds a Ph.D. in public policy and management from Cornell University; a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Antioch University; a bachelor’s degree in applied psychology from Pepperdine University; and an associate’s degree from Northeastern Christian Junior College. Wright has over 30 years experience in community college administration in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Ohio. His experience in public policy development and implementation has led to prominent positions locally, statewide and nationally. In Ohio, he has served on the Governor’s Workforce Policy Board and Commission for Student Success. He is a current member of the Governor’s Commission on Higher Education and the Economy. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Community Colleges and on the organization’s Commission on Program Initiatives and Commission on Academics, Students and Community Development. He also was elected to the board of directors of the National Commission for Cooperative Education. (Select
