MATC Press Conference with Lech Walesa
Scheduled to Precede Evening Speaking Engagement

WHAT: Reporters will have the opportunity to ask President Walesa questions prior to his evening speaking engagement as part of the MATC Global Horizons Distinguished Lecture Series.

WHY: To put students, faculty and community members in contact with global
figures making a difference in the world and to develop new levels
of awareness and provide new perspectives on diversity and
multiculturalism.

Note: To cover the 7 p.m. lecture, reporters may show credentials and check in at the media table near the Mitby Theater. Audio and videotaping is allowed only for news reporting or educational purposes. Entry to the dinner preceding the lecture and the post-lecture reception will be limited to invited guests and paid attendees. Reporters may park in any open space located in the student areas of the main MATC parking lot.
