MATC SHOW CHOIR AND
MUNICIPAL BAND TEAM UP
FOR ANNUAL HOLIDAY CONCERT
The Madison Area
Technical College (MATC) Community Show Choir and the MATC Municipal Band
will perform holiday song favorites at the MATC Annual Holiday Concert

MATC CAREER SNAPSHOTS SEMINAR
PROFILES TECHNICAL AND INDUSTRIAL CAREERS
A four-year education
is not always required to earn a good salary. Many graduates of the technical
and industrial programs from Madison Area Technical College (MATC) are
able to find work with a starting salary between $22,000-$30,000 and an
earning potential of $50,000 and up with fewer than two years of college.

HOW TO CUT THE HIGH COSTS
AND HIGH RISKS OF EDUCATION AFTER HIGH SCHOOL
"A Call to Parents:
How to Cut the High Costs and High Risks of Education After High School,"
a workshop on career planning for high school students and their parents,
counselors and teachers, will be presented by nationally known author
and speaker, Dr. Susan Quattrociocchi. Dr. Quattrociocchi (known as "Dr.
Q") will present two sessions of the workshop-on Wednesday, November
13, at 7pm in the Mitby Theater at the Madison Area Technical College
Truax location, 3550 Anderson St., Madison, and on Thursday, November
14, at 7pm at Indian Mound Middle School, 6330 Exchange St., McFarland.
The workshops are sponsored by the Madison Area Technical College District
School-to-Career Partnership. (See
