MATC Show Choir Presents
Family Holiday Pageant
The Madison Area
Technical College (MATC) Show Choir is presenting a family holiday pageant
featuring favorite holiday songs on Sunday, December 2nd at 2 p.m. in
the Mitby Theater, located at MATC Truax, 3550 Anderson Street. Tickets
are $5 for adults and $4 for seniors and children under 9. see

Phi Theta Kappa Fall
Induction Ceremony Held At Madison Area Technical College
Sixty-three students from all
five campuses were inducted into Madison Area Technical College's chapter
of Phi Theta Kappa during the college's 2001-2002 fall induction ceremony
on October 1, 2001. see

New 2002 GED Testing May Affect Current Students
Madison Area Technical
College is hoping to spread the news that new versions of the General
Educational Development (GED) tests will be released on January 1, 2002.
Because current and new test versions cannot be combined, students
who have successfully passed some but not all of the five subject tests
required to earn a GED certificate must complete the series by December
27, 2001, or start completely over in January says Sue Carter, MATCs

Seminar Profiles Equipment Technology Careers
A four-year education
is not always required to earn a good salary. Many graduates of the equipment
technology programs from Madison Area Technical College (MATC) are able
to find work with a starting salary between $22,000-$30,000 and an earning
potential of $50,000 and up with fewer than two years of college. see
