STEPHEN COVEY TO PRESENT
LEADERSHIP SEMINAR
Hes known around
the world for his visionary approach to leadership and business management.
His books, videos and audiotapes have inspired thousands. Stephen Covey,
most noted for his book 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, will address
Madison audiences via satellite on Wednesday, June 6th from 9:45 am to
4:00 pm at the Alliant Energy Center, 1919 Alliant Energy Center Way.
Hosted by Madison Area Technical College (MATC), Covey will speak on Leadership
is a Choice: The Four Roles of a Leader.

of Highly Effective People has sold more than 12 million copies and is
still on many bestseller lists. Time magazine has recognized him as one
of Americas 25 most influential people. In this seminar, Covey will
present a number of ideas related to leadership, including how to build
and sustain an atmosphere of trust and openness; how to use creative cooperation
to achieve new levels of performance; how to develop leadership at every
level of your organization; how to reduce cynicism and build morale; and
how to keep and inspire your most talented workers.

MATC is one of the
largest of the Wisconsin Technical College Systems 16 colleges.
