RE: TRUAX SERVICE LOCATION CHANGES
DATE: DECEMBER 15, 2006

Facilities and Marketing and Enrollment Development are making several changes to relocate staff and reconfigure work areas at Truax. We intend for these changes to improve services and expand service hours for our students, staff and visitors. We expect a completion date of January 12, 2007.

Key changes include:

Campus Security Services

• Will be located in Room 117 (in the north hallway immediately next to the Mailroom).
• Office hours for Room 117 will be Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• The Campus Security Team can be reached 24/7 at the same number, (608) 243-4357 (HELP). For life threatening emergencies dial 911.
• Services include:

• Security
• Lockers
• OneCard
• Walk-in daily visitor parking

• Key staff:

Operations Manager and Parking Office

• Will be located in Room 118 (next door to Campus Security) with the rest of the Facilities group.
• Hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Phone numbers are unchanged (see key staff).
• Services include:

• Parking stickers for students, administration and staff
• Extended temporary permit requests
• Advance parking for meetings
• Guest parking requests

Welcome Center

• Will be located in Room 129 (previously the Parking and Security Office)
• Welcome Center hours will be Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the first Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Phone numbers are unchanged (see key staff).
• Services include:

• Event and group tour arrangement
• Self-guided tour information
• General MATC materials, maps, visitor information
• Lost and Found

• Note: Prospective Student Relation staff, Lisa Anderson and James Scott, will be located in the offices behind the Welcome Center.

The Welcome Center will be closed for the first week of January and staff will be moving January 11 and 12. The Center will be up and running Tuesday, January 16.
