Stringing and Singing at the Truax Holiday Breakfast
12/22/06
submitted by Bill Graf

Seasonal music by the Strategic Strings highlighted the annual President’s Holiday Breakfast at MATC Truax on Friday, Dec. 22. Named after the Strategic Advancement area in which several of them work, the Strings -- Ed Clarke, Bob Dinndorf, Tom Heaney, Annette Koenig, Anna Purnell and her fiancé, Greg Smith -- rose early on a Friday morning to serenade MATC staff in a festive wrap-up to the semester and jump-start to the Christmas weekend.

The Truax breakfast was the last of six breakfasts, brunches and lunches served at each MATC campus to show the college’s appreciation of everything that MATC employees do for our students throughout the year. Please join us in thanking the Strategic Strings and our food service staff, including Sue Schultz, Paul Algiers and Brad Kahn, as well as Jean Hammen, who interrupted her retirement for a day to help serve more than 300 breakfasts.
