Submit News to MATC Matters

Any MATC employee can submit news or digital photos to be posted on MATC Matters. If you'd like to learn more about what kind of news and information is appropriate for MATC Matters read the 'about' page.

To submit news, enter your information into the form below. Please have your photos or the text of your news item ready when you begin. If you have a suggestion for story ideas, you can use this form (enter your idea in the comments section below) or send us an email at matcmatters@matcmadison.edu.

You should submit your item at least two working days in advance of the date you'd like it to be published.

Submission Information
You may submit text for a news story or an announcement. You may also submit digital photo files and captions to go along with your story, or to be included in the "Featured Photo" section of MATC Matters.

Publication Date
Specify the month and day your item should be published.

Check this box if your item does not require a specific publication date.

Note: You should submit your item at least two working days in advance of the date you'd like to see it published. We make every effort to post your item as soon as possible. If you do not specify a date, we will determine the date.

Note: Only the most recent headlines in each category appear on the front page before they are bumped to the archive section. Since some headlines roll off the front page faster than others, you should determine the most timely publication date for your news item. You might also consider publishing your item a few times, (post an initial announcement a week before your event, followed by a reminder the day before the event, for example.)

  • If you'd like us to link to an announcement or news story already posted on a page on your website, type the web address of your page in the box below.

You can submit photos for the "Featured Photo" section, or to accompany your news/announcement.

You may submit up to four photos, word files or pdfs. For photos, we accept .jpg and .gif files only.
