The National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) has awarded two gold and one bronze 2006 District 3 Medallion Awards to the MATC Marketing and Enrollment Development department (with support from the Communications Department). These awards recognize outstanding achievement in communications at community, junior and technical colleges.
MATC was awarded gold medals for its Summer Recruitment campaign and for its promotion of the Evening of Good Taste culinary event.
The Summer Recruitment campaign was designed to raise awareness about summer school offerings, promote the transfer options available and generally increase enrollment.
The Evening of Good Taste, a fundraiser for student in the culinary department, featured the work of culinary and bakery students and was organized by students in the Meeting and Event Planning Program.
MATC received a bronze medal for a series of ads for the Fall Recruitment campaign. These were the first to feature the "real world smart" theme....
