MATC Offers PC
Help Desk/Troubleshooting Certificate
Help desk and computer troubleshooting support is projected to be one
of the fastest growing job categories to the year 2005. Computer technicians
are indispensable in today's offices. The number of calls to help desks
around the country has been increasing by about 20% a year according to
a study by the GartnerGroup, a consulting firm in Stamford, CT. Computer
industry experts indicate that there are too few help desk technicians
for the demands of the new millennium. Madison Area Technical College
(MATC) is aiming to fill this business demand by providing a new certificate
in PC Help Desk/Troubleshooting. see
