Students To Compete in Hands-On Events at Statewide Skills USA-VICA Contests

high school and 200 technical college students from across Wisconsin
who are studying and developing valuable, hands-on skills in a variety
of technical, trade and industrial areas. |

29th
Annual USA-VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America) Wisconsin
Statewide Competitions in more than 40 practical, job-related and
varied skill areas such as: |

automotive and
diesel technology, animation, model rocketry, cabinetmaking, photography,
public speaking, welding, drafting, precision machining, nail
care, hair braiding, electronics, team problem solving, advertising
design, networking and computer applications.

Winners of
the Wisconsin USA-VICA contests will be eligible to compete in this
year's national competition to be held in Kansas City, MO in June. |
