MATC STUDENTS WINS
SECOND PLACE IN NATIONAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMPETITION
Madison Area Technical
College (MATC) students won second place in a network design competition
at the seventh Annual National Collegiate Conference of the Association
of Information Technology Professionals (AITP). Eleven students from the
MATC chapter of AITP attended the conference, held in Kansas City, Missouri,
in early April. see

College (MATC) presents Super Show 2002, "A Night at the Movies,"
on Friday, May 3, at 7:30pm. Super Show is an annual showcase featuring
performances by the MATC Community Show Choir, the MATC Swing Choir and
the combined college choirs of MATC and the University of Wisconsin-Rock

MATC 11th ANNUAL
POWWOW CELEBRATES NATIVE AMERICAN CULTURE
The annual Madison
Area Technical College (MATC) Powwow will be held this year on Saturday,
April 20. Celebrating its 11th anniversary, the MATC Powwow draws approximately
2,300 people to the college's Truax location each year and features internationally,
as well as nationally, known drum groups, dancers and other featured participants.
Sponsored by the MATC Native American Student Association (NASA), the
public is invited to the event, which is part of the college's celebration
of Native American History Month. see
