MATC TO HOST UNIQUE THREE-DAY INSTITUTE
UNDERSTANDING OF PEACE AND CONFLICT IN MUSLIM WORLD
National experts will discuss Islam and the Middle East during a three-day Summer Institute for International Education conference at Madison Area Technical College.
The institute will start at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, and run through early afternoon on Friday, June 20, at MATC’s Downtown campus, 211 N. Carroll St., Madison.
Experts will discuss information on language, religion, and politics in Muslim cultures around the world. The goal of the conference is to provide models and strategies that will help develop curricula at universities, community colleges and high schools.
