MATC GETS MAJOR SOFTWARE DONATION
Madison Area Technical College’s Cabinetmaking and Millwork program has received a major software donation from Microvellum Corporation.
The software, which is valued at more than $70,000 per work station, will be used to run MATC’s Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machining Center. MATC, which will eventually have 20 work stations, will now become the Midwest Training Center for Microvellum.
The program will soon be able to deliver contract training for business and industry in the Midwest, as well as training opportunities for MATC students.
