MEETING PROFESSIONALS INTERNATIONAL NAMES MATC'S JANET SPERSTAD "INTERNATIONAL PLANNER OF THE YEAR"
Meeting Professionals International (MPI) has awarded Janet Sperstad, CMP, lead instructor for Madison Area Technical College's Meeting and Event Management Program, the 2007 International Planner of the Year Award. The award, presented at the organization's World Education Congress in Montreal last month, honors meeting professionals who have demonstrated professional excellence and leadership in the meetings industry. see press release

MADISON AREA TECHNICAL COLLEGE WELCOMES NEW STUDENTS AT “NEW STUDENT DAZE” EVENT
Madison Area Technical College (MATC) is welcoming new students at “New Student Daze” events scheduled at each of the college’s five regional campuses. More than 2,500 students are expected to take advantage of the event this year. The MATC Downtown event will take place Wednesday, August 22, and the Truax location event will be held Thursday, August 23, and Friday, August 24. see media alert
