Singing Anyone? Join MATC Show Choir!
The
public is invited to join the Madison Area Technical College (MATC)
Community Show Choir this fall. The choir invites interested men
and women in the Madison area to join the choir. Anyone who enjoys
singing is welcome and male vocalists are particularly encouraged
to join.
The choir will meet in the choral rehearsal room
(Room 101) at the MATC Truax location every Thursday from 6:30
to 9:30 p.m. from September 7 through November 30, 2006. Auditions
are not necessary, but each choir member is charged a $25 music
fee.
The season culminates with a Holiday Concert on Sunday,
December 3, 2006, in the Mitby Theater at the MATC Truax location.

MATC
is one of the largest of the Wisconsin Technical College System’s
16 colleges. It provides “real world smart” education
through a comprehensive curriculum of technical, liberal arts and
science, adult basic education and life enrichment studies and
activities, as well as customized employee training. MATC offers
associate degrees, vocational diplomas and certificates, and non-degree
courses in more than 140 programs of study. The college serves
all or parts of 12 counties located in south-central Wisconsin
and offers instruction through five campuses and numerous community
locations throughout the district.
