Madison Area Technical College Student Receives Bachelor Degree Through Online
Degree Program
COLUMBUS, OH – A Madison Area Technical College student received
her bachelor degree at a commencement ceremony held on Sunday,
Jan. 2, 2005. However, the degree awarded was not from MATC, but
from Franklin University. see

MATC to Sponsor Business Improvement Workshop
Based on Baldrige Process
Madison Area Technical College
(MATC) will sponsor an interactive workshop to help area organizations
build a solid
foundation for organization-wide improvement. The “Baldrige
Preparation Workshop: The Path to Organizational Excellence” focuses
on helping organizations conduct a self-assessment to start them
on the journey to continuous improvement by integrating effective
planning techniques with the data needed to improve business results.
The workshop can help an enterprise meet increasing business challenges
by incorporating Baldrige-based criterion and core values into an

American Family Insurance was honored today for its substantial,
longtime support of Madison Area Technical College and technical education
in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Association for Career and Technical Education
(WACTE) presented its C. L. Greiber Award of Merit to American Family

MATC Math Club Presents "Do Dogs Know Calculus?"
On February 14, the Mathematics
Club of Madison Area Technical College (MATC) has a treat for both math lovers
and dog lovers. “Do Dogs Know Calculus?” will feature a visit from
Elvis, a Welsh Corgi who appears to use calculus, according to his owner Tim
Pennings, a mathematics professor from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. see
