TECHNICAL COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID ACTIVITIES AIMED TO SIMPLIFY PROCESS AND
INCREASE OPTIONS FOR AFFORDING COLLEGE
WHAT:
The question of “How Can I Afford College?” will be answered
through several Financial Aid Awareness Week Activities at Madison Area
Technical College. The topics of student loans, federal and state grants,
employment opportunities, veteran benefits and scholarships will be discussed.
One-on-one assistance in filling out financial aid forms will be offered
each day.
In addition, MATC students and prospective students who
apply for financial aid before 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 11, will qualify
for a $500 scholarship drawing.

Madison Area Technical College staff and area lenders
WHEN:
One-on-one assistance in filling out financial aid forms will be offered
each day, March 9-11, 2004 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. There also will
be a presentation on the overview of the financial aid process offered
on Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

MATC Student Lounge, Truax Campus, 3550 Anderson Street, Madison
Parking Note: Please use call box to park in MATC
Visitor lot off Wright St. or call ahead for closer parking arrangements
in the Administration lot off Anderson St.
