Free Car Care Clinic Hosted
by the MATC Automotive Club
Madison Area Technical College Automotive Club will hold a free Car Care
Clinic at its Truax Campus, 3550 Anderson Street, Center Court on November
15 from 9 am 2 pm in exchange for a donation of a non-perishable
food item to be given to a local food pantry. Clinic visitors should follow
signs guiding them to find Center Court at the rear of the Truax building.
The clinic will be open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
In preparation for winter, belts, hoses, wipers, brakes, cooling system
and other key parts will be checked and fluids topped off. The vehicles
owners will be advised of any mechanical problems found so repairs can
be scheduled elsewhere. Repairs will not be made as part of the clinic.
The inspections are expected to last approximately 20 minutes.
The clinic is sponsored in conjunction with the MATC Automotive Advisory
Committee. For more information, please call 608-246-6819 or by email
at clathrop@matcmadison.edu.
