Career Snapshots Event Profiles Marketing Careers
MATC will focus
on marketing, fashion marketing careers and options that
lead to a bachelors degree in an upcoming Career Snapshots on Tuesday,
March 11. The free career exploration event will be held at the MATC Truax
Campus, Room 142 AB, 3550 Anderson Street in Madison from 6-8 pm. Registration

The event will
offer attendees the ability to hear from alumni working in various marketing
professions, view a demo on how Computer Aided Design (CAD) is used in
the fashion marketing industry and learn how these skills can enhance
careers in the information age. MATC instructors and representatives also
will be available to answer questions about new bachelor degree completion
programs MATC has established with UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee and Franklin
University.
Participants also
will learn how to begin a college career with 1-, 2- and 4-year options
of study.
Career Snapshots
is a series of seminars presented by MATC that allows attendees to participate
in an interactive program focusing on particular career fields. Whether
changing careers or simply exploring different career options, community
members of all ages are encouraged to attend.
MATC is the second
largest of the Wisconsin Technical College Systems 16 colleges.
It provides a comprehensive curriculum of technical, liberal arts and
science, adult basic education and life enrichment studies and activities,
as well as customized employee training. MATC awards associate degrees,
vocational diplomas and certificates, and offers non-degree courses. The
college serves all or parts of 12 counties located in south-central Wisconsin
and offers instruction through five campuses and various other locations
throughout the district.
