Kick off your college career with events for new MATC students!

Student orientations are designed to prepare students for their first semester at MATC.

But, before heading to the nearest MATC campus for new student orientation ...

Did you take the COMPASS test?

The COMPASS test must be taken prior to attending new student orientation. The purpose of this test is to assess your current academic skills and to help you register for the appropriate level of math and English courses. If you need to take the test, there are two different locations.

Do you know your STUDENT ORIENTATION date?

If you've taken your assessment tests and have been accepted into an academic program, you'll receive a letter with the date and time of your orientation session. If you are a Liberal Arts Transfer student, you can register through the MATC calendar for your orientation session.

To save time during Orientation, activate your MATC student account before coming to MATC.
