Enrollment
Status
As of the Date of Record, students enrolled in 12 or more eligible credits are considered full-time; students carrying 9-11 credits are considered 3/4-time; students carrying 6-8 credits are considered half time; and less-than-half-time students are those carrying 1-5 credits.
The Date of Record (or Census Date) determines financial aid eligibility for the entire semester. The courses in which the student is enrolled on the Date of Record determines the financial aid to be paid that semester. Any adds or drops for the balance of the semester will NOT result in an adjustment to the student’s financial aid eligibility. There are no exceptions.
For example: A wait listed course does not count toward financial aid eligibility. A student must be removed from the wait list and placed in the class by the Date of Record. Also, students must register for Interim classes by the
Date of Record.
