Enroll in a credit class
If you would like to take a few credit classes to begin your educational career, get that extra training for a promotion, or if you simply have an interest in studying a particular subject (but don't wish to apply for an entire program), it's easy to enroll in credit classes at MATC!
If you are interested in taking a non-credit, enrichment class, v isit the Adult Continuing Education course listings for information about offerings and how to sign up for one of our non-credit/enrichment classes.
STEP 1: Contact the MATC Enrollment Center
The first step is contacting the MATC Enrollment Center at (608) 246-6210. You will talk to one of our enrollment specialists about the class(es) you would like to take and provide your contact information, and your information will be uploaded into our student administration system. You will then be given instructions about accessing your account online through Inside MATC and how to register for the class using our online registration system.
STEP 2: Schedule any necessary assessment testing
Depending on which credit class(es) you would like to take, there may by some assessment testing required before admission into the class. To find out if there are any testing requirements, review the specific program requirements, call the academic department directly, or or ask the Enrollment Center.
STEP 3: Register for the class
You will be eligible to register during open registration, which is when students who are not enrolled in a specific academic program can sign up for classes. (Students who are enrolled in an academic program are eligible for early registration.)
There are four ways to register, so use the method that's easiest for you!
