CQI Mentor Corps

In February 2006, MATC's AQIP Steering Team attended its second strategy forum hosted by the Higher Learning Commission and identified this project as a potential solution to the non-use of processes for quality improvement and assessment throughout the college. It was the concensus of the group that much of this was due to the lack of knowledge on how to implement quality improvement and assessment on the part of the employees.

This project will create a process to train a cohort of MATC employees in the use of Continuous Quality Improvement and Assessment methodologies, approaches and tools and coordinate the integration of these individuals into each work team, group and unit. These individuals will then assist these groups to accomplish their goals through the application of CQI methodologies, strategies, and tools.
