MATC Enrollment Management Plan
Enrollment Management (EM) is the process of defining enrollment goals and establishing strategies to reach these goals. It is the development of policy, procedures, standards and criteria relative to all facets of enrollment management including but not limited to student recruitment, admissions policy, orientation and advising, data analysis, financial aid policies, retention programming, marketing, campus community development, student/faculty connections, and student degree completion. |
EM begins with market research, position analysis, and predictive modeling. Chuck McIntyre, Market Research consultant from Computer-Aided Planning, made several visits to MATC to gather data and research for the MATC AQIP Action Project - Market Research. The purpose of the research project is to scan educational needs of current and future MATC students, evaluate MATC access and market penetration, develop future scenarios and enrollment simulations and develop a Strategic Enrollment Management Plan (EMP).
