Products
The Downtown Education Center (DTEC) Bookstore stocks required textbooks
and supplies for classes held at the DTEC, Adult and Continuing Education
(ACE) courses, and College Preparedness and Academic Advancement Center (CPAAC) programs. Because
of limited retail space, the DTEC Bookstore does not routinely stock non-required
texts or items. The DTEC Bookstore sells duplicated guides and packets.

- Used Books
MATC works with a national used book vendor to offer textbook buy-back near the end of each semester (fall and spring). Buy-back prices are based on whether the text is ordered for sale the following semester. Some texts may only be sold for wholesale prices.
Used books are stocked for sale along with new books. Supplies of used texts may be limited..
- MATC Imprinted Merchandise
Clothing, magnets, cups, mugs, as well as regular office supplies with
MATC logo are available.
- Gifts
Greeting cards, stuffed animals including TY beanies, glass novelties,
candles, holiday ornaments, small sculpted pieces, and audio CD. Barber
and Cosmetology Salon products are also available.
- Other Products
The bookstore carries a variety of other products like calculators,
cassette recorders, instructional study aids like videos and cassettes,
pharmaceuticals, dictionaries, CD's, and book bags.

Individual and whole books of stamp, and postage paid envelopes are
available.

A $7.95 UPS shipping charge will be added. Materials that are in stock
will be shipped out by the next business day.
Purchases phoned or faxed can be picked up by the next business day
at the Downtown Enrollment and Information Center in Room D117. Payment
by cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card, or personal check with pre-printed
address are accepted.

Include 5.5% sales tax and a $7.95 UPS shipping charge. Be sure to include

Return
Policy
- Do not write in any book
or open any supplies until you are certain you do not need a refund.
- No refunds on paperback
novels, unwrapped materials or clearance items
- Full refund or exchange will be given on a text, manual, or supply if:
- The item contains no marks and is in "new" condition
- The item was purchased at the DTEC Bookstore
- The cash register receipt is provided
- The refund or exchange takes place within 10 (ten) working days of purchase, and the personal check has cleared the bank (5 working days)
- Types of refunds:
- Credit Cards: credit only
- Check/Cash: cash or MATC district check: 10 days to process
- Billing Authorizations/Third-party Payments: credit to account
