Innovation Grants
The MATC Foundation Innovation Grants program was created to provide funding to students, faculty, and staff for the development and implementation of high quality, innovative projects that support the MATC mission. Innovation Grants are available to finance projects not normally funded by the college budget or other sources. Most grants range between $1,000 and $3,000, and projects must generally be completed within 18 months of the award date.
Applications are accepted twice a year. Student organizations are especially encouraged to consider developing proposals for projects that benefit the entire college community. The proposal development process can be an excellent learning experience regardless of whether or not funding is received.
Proposals are reviewed by a committee of faculty, staff, student representatives and MATC Foundation board members. Applicants may be interviewed as a final step in the approval process. Funding of projects is subject to approval by the MATC Foundation Board.
